Hatha Yoga

In this hatha yoga class we will embrace an alignment style with breath based movement. The aim of this class is to practice with keen awareness and an energetic presence to link poses skillfully sequenced together in the boundary of the breath. This powerful intermediate practice calls upon ujjayi pranayama, knowledge of poses with proper placement and precision in movement to access your full potential as a student of yoga. Alignment cues will be minimal, but rather tapping into the empowerment of remembrance and deep self-inquiry as a practitioner. Cultivating strength and stability to enliven the spirit of the practice back on the mat with Prana- vitality, energy, power, change and movement. We like to call this style a “GO Practice.”
